GHC Genetics is the youngest and most dynamic member of the GHC Healthcare Worldnet group in the Czech Republic, focused on offering predictive genetic testing in its full range and providing the current science and new, state-of-the-art technical equipment of GHC Genetics laboratories.

At the same time, with the new laboratory of GHC GENETICS, the new research platform called the Institute of Medical and Predictive Genetics has been set up in Prague. Its mission is to ensure further research development in predictive genetic testing and in solving research tasks, mainly in the area of molecular psychiatry. The groups of Czech experts and scientific departments included in the grant system of the American partners will be involved in the research.

We are the first and currently the only company in Europe that has the needed background to perform the genetic tests to the extent defined by the GenScan genetic predictive screening examination, which is currently offered nowhere else in the world. GenScan performs an examination of large groups of genes and polymorphisms which are responsible for predispositions to many diseases which are analyzed within the genetic examination.

Laboratory methodology that is affordable for each of us is available, and it makes it possible to undergo a genetic predictive examination.

Most of the genetic laboratory tests performed worldwide are not affordable for the general public because the laboratory procedures are too costly. GenScan was designed so as to be affordable for all who think a great deal of their health and to contain the examination of the full spectrum of genes responsible for a number of diseases.

Many worldwide sites where predictive medical genetics is performed are not able to provide a medical presentation after the genetic analysis with regard to the clinical implications in the examined person and to recommend a preventive therapeutic program in which the conclusions of the genetic investigation would be taken into account and which would immediately implement preventive or targeted therapy. In this respect, GHC Genetics offers a complex examination with a clinical service provided by physicians who solve the problem of predisposition factors.

Concomitantly with the determination of genetic risks, it is possible to undertake a complex examination of the current clinical status of a client in the partner site of the GHC clinic, using the examination methodology including GHC screening that includes an examination of all organ systems and reveals the actual condition of the person. A determination of biological age is a part of this analysis.

Exact diagnosis is determined based on the clinical conclusions and GenScan genetic predisposition analysis, and preventive therapy or therapy of underlying diseases is initiated. By means of this complex medical and personalized approach to each client, an unambiguous prerequisite for a healthy and happy life is created for everybody who decides to be personally responsible for his or her own health.
